Today was a day I walked during the day under blue sky and stayed dry, no rain for the time being. Really thankful for that. I have to mention the rest of the day was pretty wet.

It was a good example for me today, to see when it’s good to do things in a right order. Because the contractor employees ruined their own good work because the postponed cutting trees.

So in the end a waste of time and material for them and all of us, because more things became trash, more stuff to be produced - resources wasted. That has nothing to do to blame them for that, it’s just they way it turned out to be the end result and was observed by me.

But why are we allowing ourselves so often to be pressured and not think it through? Why don’t we give the challenge the proper time in the first place, to understand it and then slowing down to do it right the first time?

I believe I wrote this already once, but a real step forward against “slowing climate change down” is to slow down ourselves in my opinion.

That could look like, that we are only producing half of the material for that matter, that we actually do.

That we do half of all the work we are doing right now (travel, driving, redo, …) and stop in giving an artificially created substance, aka money, less attention to start with.

In looking into nature to learn about the natural given way of “up and down” and given that fact more value, than the endless growth, we might succeed in surviving as part of this planet, I think.
