May I stop ...
Writing after all?
I listened to something today - a podcast (StarTalk again, overcast.fm/+WJOu5C9F…) - were a person was mentioned I don’t know personally. First I was admired, but then I listened further and it made me sad. Because it was said that he only accepts “perfection”, if you can’t deliver it, you kinda were thrown out by him.
The problem with this is, they majority of us - really no one - is perfect.
If we look at that, on a corporate level, they all (seen worldwide) didn’t succeed in supporting sustainable life on this planet and still failing to do so.
So what is all their successes worth - the truth is, nothing that we should use as an example in going forward.
Because it’s worthless when the environment that allows us to live at all is extinct - there will be no room left then for being successful in the first place, or to evolve further.
It’s not about me being pessimistic about the current developments, it’s about to be realistic - I think.
