Before I get into the details, I’m also doing this as human being as well (only at times, I hope), but try to minimize it more and more.

I listened to a very interesting Podcast about the “El-Salvador Bitcoin decision”.
I’ve to admit it is good to hear this enthusiasm about something, what is a good and absolute valid thing to pursue.

My concern is, because of this enthusiasm, the involved persons getting blind, missing out on the big picture, or even actively hide it from themselves.

No I’m not getting into the details of the energy consumption of Bitcoin.

The simple solution for this is - Stop all the military activities, weapon fabrication on this planet and we don’t have to discuss for a second anymore the power usage of crypto currencies.
The power play between “the nations” is anyhow another big scam in my eyes, well staged by our politicians.
Okay enough conspiracy stuff for today 😁.

But our planet’s biosphere, that represents our only possible survival is dying - in other words, we are getting kicked out and further denial makes suffering easier, or not really?

That is what I’m missing in a lot of discussions these days - in any kind of outlets - also in Podcasts that I’m admiring, because the call for advertising money is present in all of them.
The call for an abundant life “filled with all the things we can dream of” (mostly materialized, physical things to be sold) is always there, at least in the background.

We still bind ourselves in the framework of capitalism, that will never address this reality we are pushing constantly further ahead from ourselves.

Please - we are smart - don’t let us get lost in denial of this challenge, that lies ahead of all living beings!
