I read a very interesting article today about an exploration company doing mapping, eg. of the ocean, in a very “green way”.
Only to learn at the end that the biggest customers of this company are oil- and gas producers.

Is it a kind of sickness, clapping ourselves on the shoulders, but mainly help driving the exploitation and devastation of the planet further?

I’m happy for the company, the involved people.
But they telling themselves - I guess - we are doing good for the environment, for ourselves and paying our taxes, our workforce, our partners.

Once more, it’s about the stories we telling ourselves, so often, until we start believing in them.

But this story is lacking the “big picture”.
In helping other companies, to destroy the environment even more, this is not okay.

It is not the change that is needed.
