There are only two gods the majority of people are praying to, money and weapons, by the way very properly portrayed in “Planet of the Apes” (1968 & sequels).

I myself tell me too, if I just had enough money to pay of my debt, mainly to the local government of the country I live in, then I’ll be free - also only a story I tell myself.

As long as we live in a “capitalistic economy” no one can be free, it is only a story we tell ourselves and everyone else too.

Also our perception of owning stuff, we have usage rights, nothing can be really owned by someone, no one, as all of us, we share one thing in common, our own death.
