Then I listened to a Podcast were a host pointed out that certain functionality praised in the advertising - even on its on Podcast (Apple related) - isn’t working reliable, or even never at all.

The same I see within A.I.

There’s a lot of talking going on how great this technology is. But most of the Great, that it puts out is used to manipulate and deceive. In all the fields that only occupy our minds, but not let us create stuff with real value for the “living world”.

The areas with real value, aren’t that large and error prone, that it could be dangerous to rely on them without constant checking back.

For sure, it is also used in the ongoing warfare already, so already the worst use case, for killing and destruction.

That’s why I repeat myself here again: In the actual form and how technology is mainly used by us at present, it won’t help us to defy climate change outcomes.

The opportunities are there, but their usage is not directed in the right direction, I think.
