It happened ...
Already yesterday, that I listened to Tim Ferris’s interview with Pablo Holmes.
And I don’t agree with all the things that where said, especially about nuclear power. How certain rich people have their ideas about the future for humankind, or the planet, that was simply scary, if true.
But I do think he is right, for the same reasons I see myself, that too many of us are working on completely useless virtual realities, software, games, things that don’t have any real impact on the planet, or the “physical environment”. But taking a lot of energy and that has to change. Innovation in the „physical realm“ are needed, I think.
Many of us don’t really know anymore, what physical work really means, and we are still missing that technology advantages in the daily life, besides once more the inappropriate energy usage, or destruction of environments, that AI technologies should bring us.
I’m happy today, because I walked for the first time since 6-7 months in my “normal range” of 8-9 minutes/km, no coughing. I hope, it’s not an outlier only.
Enjoy any minute of your life, not on the shoulders, not on expenses of others, be as kind as possible to all life, including humans and yourself.
